Towards a University for Milton Keynes

Prepared by the Milton Keynes Higher Education Strategic Development Board (MK HESDB), this document forms the basis of a 2nd stage of briefing and consultation. It is a statement of the vision, values and aims for the development of a University of Milton Keynes.

It follows formal consultation with, and takes account of, inputs from key civic partners while seeking to maximise the impact of investment funding from a variety of public and private sources

Refreshed Economic Vision for MK

The ‘Economic Vision' for Milton Keynes has been updated and we have been collecting feedback from business and the wider community. We would like to thank all those who took the time to study the documents and respond to them.

The Vision “From New Town to International City” was launched in May 2004 (see below) to guide the economy in Milton Keynes over the next 30 years, but does this Vision remain valid? Should the emphasis change? What needs adding? What are the key challenges?
